I just finished making my granddaughter of pair of slacks. If you have a sleeveboard to use - this works out great. The leg of the slacks fits right over the sleeve board and allows you to press open the seams.
I know this is a simple tip - but - in searching - I didn't see it covered in our tips. I thought some fellow grandmothers or mothers who sew for children could use this info.
Great Tip! The sleeve board is a good pressing tool for childrens' clothing.

Thank you Mary - simple but useful tip as we often don't see the forest for the trees.

I also use my sleeve board for pressing seams for the kids clothes. It comes in very handy for smaller areas
