| I'm sure others have thought of this idea, but I thought I'd pass it along anyway. I was in need of new storage for my sewing tools and supplies and, since I don't have a space dedicated solely to sewing, I wanted a large container to try to corral all of my treasures in one place. I checked at Wal Mart for sewing boxes. They were too small and too expensive--at least $20.00 apiece. So, I went to the tool aisle and found a large tool box (21" X 10" X 12") that was half the price and twice the size. It works wonderfully well, with lots of space and compartments in the removable tray for small items. I am very pleased with it. |
I too have a tool box and it is so much more practical than my old sewing box. Mine has compartments in the lid, that have clear plastic lids. I keep frequently use bits and bobs in there which is very handy. I never thought of posting this tip. Thanks for doing so.
