I have a waistline that is almost the same size as my hips, (NOT an hourglass girl) I find if I buy jeans to fit my waist, they are WAY too big everywhere else. So I put an extra jean button on the waist, usually about 3/4 inch away from the original button. This gives me a little more "room" in the waistband. I leave the original button on, just in case. No one has ever noticed it anyway.
I have also been known to spray the waistband of my tighter jeans with a water bottle and "snap" the damp waistband a few times to stretch it out. DH was just looking at me, and wisely did not ask what I was doing, just shook his head and left the room...LOL What a girl will do to be comfortable! |
