Featured in the PR book!
Whenever I am making a garment for which there may be a lingerie-exposure problem (plunging front or back neckline or boatneck, for example), I put my existing lingerie on my dress form dummy while I'm fitting. This lets me know whether 1) I need to change the fit of the garment or 2) I need to buy new lingerie!

When I sew for brides, I always have them bring their foundation garments and shoes - I'm not sure why it took me so long to make the connection to do this with my dummy for my own sewing.
