Featured in the PR book!
A lot of us trace our patterns, and I've been plagued at times with facing pieces that don't accurately match the body piece. So this is what I'm doing now: I trace and cut each piece, then put them together to see if they match, and trim or retrace and recut to make *sure* they match. This was a "duh" moment for me!

I also check the pieces I also take a collar, sleeve, neck line, that I like and place it from one pattern to another.being careful to make adjustments.

I am like you too; I assume things will turn out right and get lazy and don't double check. Thank you for reminding me I need to "check my work".
