Kenneth King has developed many interesting techniqes throughout his sewing career that make each process easier and each outcome assured. That he is very generous and willing to share these is wonderful for us!
The zippered welt pocket has many applications: bags and totes (both inside and outside) as well as jackets -- really anywhere you want a secure, beautiful-looking pocket. It can even be used in multiples for decoration.
Kenneth gives you excellent written instructions to start and is there for each and any question you may have. He was very definitely "available" to us during the class, which also includes one chat.
I not only enjoyed learning this technique, but throroughly enjoyed getting to know this couture designer just a bit -- he has a wonderful sense of humor! |

I had planned on signing up for this class, but as the weeks and days got nearer, my life got busier and busier. I had to face the fact that I just wouldn't have the time. I appreciate your review and really hope this is offered again. And I need to really, really, really hope I can get my life to slow down so I can enjoy the class.

bunz, thanks for this review, I really would like to take this class. I guess I scheduled my recent trip at the worst time. I don't know how many things I missed out on! Thank heaven it was a truly great trip! I sure hope Deepika will schedule this one again!

I just took this class - well, sort of. As luck would have it work became extremely busy and I couldn't participate. :-( However, I did print out all the lessons. The photographs and instructions are superb - as I knew they would be!
