This is not a tip but a question. For many years I have tryed cutting bias cut skirt. My dilemma is the bump that appears in the side seam just below the zipper while the fit on my other hip fits nicely. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? So far the only solution I came up with was to make a straight grain yoke from the waste down to my hip, enough for the zipper.

Try interfacing both sides of the zip. This has worked for me....it creates substance to the area. Cheers, Sophie
