| I tried something new to help me save a bit of time. As I cut out each piece of the pattern, I would take the pins out of the pattern and go ahead and pin the seams to ready them for sewing. This I think saved me some time. By the time I had cut it all out, I had a stack of pieces that were ready just to sew one-right after the other. In some cases I could just sew from one piece to the next piece without cutting my thread. When I was done, I just snipped the tiny length of thread holding them together. I would not try this on a pattern that I was not familiar with or that was not really simple. |
This is a great idea to save time! I'm going to try it next time.
