Fashion-Incubator Saran Wrap Pattern Making Method

The above link will take you to instructions for making a custom fitted block using Saran Wrap (or other cling film) and a helper. The link below will take you to a PR Review of my experience making a Saran Wrap Block. I've used mine both to draft patterns, and to alter commercial patterns.

Liana, this is awesome info. After I create a DTD for my sister over Christmas, I'm going to have her wrap me with the Saran Wrap. Going to compare it to the muslin I'm working on in SG's Making a Muslin class. Thanks so much for posting this tip.

Thank you So much for this, Liana. I have a 'Duct tape Double' so I'm going to cover it with a flimsy polythene bag from the Dry Cleaner's and create a Saran wrap. I realise that the arscye won't be as accurate as wrapping myself would be, but getting the torso and shoulder pattern correct will be a great step forward.
