I've used it for years. There are previous threads on this subject. I highly recommend reading through them carefully.

There is a high learning curve. You have to learn about patternmaking, style choices, etc. whereas when you buy a pattern, those choices have already been made for you.

I use 2 wildginger programs all the time. Boutique for wovens and the new Knits program.

Yes there is a learning curve but you can do a lot with the program without using all the features.

Still you have to chose ease and styles and lengths that suit you but you won't have to a full bust adjustment.

Yes. I've used Wild Ginger, but I don't recommend it. Quite a few other people on PR have also tried it, but like me never got beyond the fitting muslin stage. To give you an idea of Wild Ginger's relative popularity, during the past 12 months, thousands of patterns were reviewed on PR, but only two were from Wild Ginger. I think you'd be far better off taking the time and money you would have spent and learn to draft your own patterns manually.

I use Wild Ginger for about 80% of my sewing, as others have said there is a learning curve and important to get the fitting garment right. I also use it to assess whether I need to think about alterations to purchased patterns. I stopped reviewing the garments made from Wild Ginger on PR years ago as they are not of much use to those without the software and the wouldn't get too mant hits on this site but would still put them on Wild Ginger's own forum/album.

I use it all the time too, but don't review them here. They just don't get much response.

I draft with pencil and paper, but like others, rarely review self drafts as they don't get much interest.

I've used Pattern Master Boutique for years. I never mastered the pattern editor function but I don't really need it. If I did, I'm sure I could learn it (with time and effort). I make mostly fairly simple garments and add details from commercial patterns or from my imagination. That said, I'd probably make better use of the program--and learn the editor function--if I had really good measurements. I had to take my own and, while the patterns are an improvement over commercial patterns, they are not ideal. This is not in any way a flaw in the program. It's just that I need a sewing buddy.

I've used it for years and adore all their software. I've made everything from bathing suits to ball gowns, simple dressed and elaborate costumes. We also have a local users group that meets monthly, and we help each other achieve the best fit and style. The customer support is excellent, too. They've got a 90-day money-back guarantee, so you can give it a proper trial to see if it's right for you.

There are a lot of garments on my blog that I've made with PatternMaster, so you can take a look at the versatility.
