Date: 3/19/13 2:05 AM Hi. I have an old Elna TX machine and I am looking for a cording foot. Anybody out there with one? |

Date: 3/19/13 3:56 AM No, but I do on some other way newer machines. But if you mean to wrap some fabric around a cord and then just sew down the fabric or sew it into a seam, I think I could just use a zipper foot and get real close to it that way.
If you mean instead the newer kind of cording feet on some way newer machines that have a half circle groove the size of the cord cut on on the under side of them, that the cord rides in, and only a little small round hole in the top of the foot, then maybe a bolt on kind of one of those, for some newer other kind of low shank bolt on machine, might still fit and line up? You do have sideways needle positioning there. To find out though, I think you would just have to try some and see if you could get all lined up just right maybe? I think the actual needle drop into a small round hole in a foot, could even be different on different machines, even going in the forwards and backwards direction even though possibly? |
