Date: 5/10/12 8:21 PM Can someone help me with the PED Basic software? Either it did not download correctly or I am missing something! Most of the buttons are grayed out and I cannot see how to apply text. I have used the original version 1 for years so thought I'd slide right into the Basic...not so!!
Thank you so much in advance. |

Date: 5/11/12 11:08 AM Sorry, I gave you the wrong info this morning. PE basic dosn't have fonts built in as part of the program. It's used to transfer finished PES files from computer to memory card in the attached card reader. If you are looking for names, you can download Embird with lettering, save designs in PES and use PE Basic to transfer files. Embird dosn't come with the hardware so you still need what you have. -- Edited on 5/11/12 9:35 PM -- ------ Janome10001, Babylock ESG3, Brother ULT 2001, White 634D serger, Pfaff 1472, Singer featherweight, Singer 14T957Dc, Bernina FunLock 009DCC coverlock, Brother PQ1500S, Janome CP900. |

Date: 5/12/12 0:19 AM Thank you for the info. Not being familiar with Embird, I did a search. I saw a 'free' download and one for $145. Is the free just a trial? Is this a difficult program to use? Really appreciate the help. THANK YOU!! |
