Is it possible to buy back issues of BurdaStyle magazine?
I can't figure this out.

I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person, but I cannot figure out the Burda site at all. Is it possible to order back issues of their magazine?

I've fallen madly in love with a pattern from the 02-2009 issue. Am I doomed to long for it hopelessly, or is there some way to buy the darn thing? I've been mucking about on the web for 30 minutes trying and have only succeeded in getting exasperated by the inpenetrable maze that is the Burda site.

Any help would be welcome! Thanks.

Their website has undergone a lot of changes lately but even before the changes I am unsure you were able to get back issues from them. I would try to contact GLP News, the agency who provides subscriptions to those in the US about past issues. If they don't have any, post on the classifieds here or check Ebay.

If you link to the pattern # in the [BurdaStyle 02-2009], that you want, maybe someone will also know if that particular style looks like any of the Burda patterns, in envelopes, sold at JoAnn's ...we might be able to save you from having to hunt down that issue..hopefully you have a JoAnn's near you too

No, you can't buy them. The US distributor, GLP News in New Jersey never has back issues. The only place would be to look on e bay, or to place a want ad here on PR. There are always people who don't want back issues.

Thanks for info, everyone. How odd that you can't order back issues! You would think that they would want those patterns to have a longer life.

I will try the other methods suggested to get the issue, then!
