Ottobre Woman skirt query Am I missing something here??

I traced and have cut my lining pieces for the skirt , but have realised the back piece is quite a bit narrower than the front, like about 1 1/2" narrower. I have been back and checked I've traced it correctly, but am now a bit stuck on what is going on. I've basted it together to see if it is some interesting design thing, but it seems not. Have checked previous reviews, but no-one has mentioned it, so am wondering if there is anyone that might shed some light on this curiousity for me. For reference the drawing ishere, and the skirt is a basic 2 piece skirt with side zip. ------ Wendy Wellington, New Zealand

The back is narrower than the front and I think Ottobre does this to hide the seams when the garment is viewed from the front.
