It's 105 degrees where I live and lightweight linen keeps me happy. Anyone know of an easy top pattern that they love. I like longer length and I'm not terribly comfortable sleeveless.

Thanks!

Simplicity 2191 is fast becoming one of my favorites because it's so easy to make changes to. It would work well in linen and the little short sleeve versions are quite cute. I've done a lot with this top,
mostly ditched the slit neckline, done a square one and did a self binding instead of facings. SO much easier.
You can see some of the variations I've done on one of my blog posts here if that helps.

Really, there are so many good woven top patterns, I'm sure you'll get a whole heap of great suggestions.

I made the Sorbetto in linen and really like it (after I fixed my bad darts!).

Also lovely! Can't wait to make these! Looking forward to lots of suggestions! The heat in my town never bothered me until I hit 46! Now, it's killing me: hence the need for little, white linen tops!

A few years ago I made the Textile Studios Marseilles top out of linen and I still keep pulling it out of my closet and wearing it. Thanks for reminding me that I need to make another one. Since I don't wear shoulder pads much any more, I just narrowed the shoulders and sloped them about 1/4 ". I made the version with the tie front but short sleeves. It's super easy and comfortable.Textile Studios Marseilles

This is another top that I can't wait to make. I sort of made one similar to this out of cotton gauze and it was sooo cool. The only thing is that the gauze was sort of scratchy, but I do wear it all the time so it can't be THAT bad...

This pattern is definitely on my list....(I can imagine my husband rolling his eyes right now.)

I'm going broke saving money sewing. (I love that line!)

Looks like that pooch is in charge of keeping your Space so neat!
Can you train mine to do that?!

I have S2371, similar pattern.

Yesterday I cut out Burda 8220. http://sewing.patternreview.com/patterns/9593
But I shortened it, as I liked the style, buy not the length. I liked that it was simple, 2 or 3 pattern pieces, depending and sleeve or not, had extended shoulders or sleeves and had somewhat of a waist. I also cut it straight across at the back instead of a dip. Hopefully I will sew it today.

I also live where it is Hot and Humid, south Louisiana. So I know what you are talking about.
