I am having a problem I hope someone can help me with. I am using the stretch & sew method of applying 1/4" elastic to the legs & back of my son's cloth diapers & the bobbin thread is bunching up (making extra loops or extra long loops) at the points where I stop & start to move my hands along the pulled elastic (at least I think that's when it's happening). Here's a picture:

Does anoyone know how to solve this problem?

I purchased the Elastic Wizard attachments, but they seem to be more trouble than they're worth & I cannot get the hang of using them!!!

TIA!

Thanks. It was actually the top thread being pulled through-- I increased the upper tension & all is well. Thought this might help someone.
