I'm envious of the Aussie and European PR Weekends (not to mention the NYC shopping weekend) coming up this spring....so how about some early chat for the fall NYC PR Weekend? Not meant to the the official annoucement thread - just chat for those of us who are a little impatient for next fall....

I am *so* there this year - part of my monthly budget is set aside to save up Who else wants/plans/hopes to go?

I'm from California but I have a daughter at NYU so I'm game for any excuse to go to NYC --- count me in.

Me, too! I live within driving distance (about 3 hours) so I don't know if I'll be staying overnight, but I'll be there.

I definitely want to go again. We had so much fun last year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be Veteran's Day weekend again this year.

I do not plan on spending as much money as I did last year. "The best laid plans of mice and men......"

Last year, reading all about it, I was positive I'd be there, no two ways about it. But, I'm afraid it's just not possible for reasons that are entirely my fault!

My DSis & I have been talking, off & on, about taking a major trip together to Ireland, mainly to finally connect with our cousins. Our folks left Ireland after they married as did most of their DBs & DSs. They never went back but did stay in touch. We've sort of stayed in touch & have been there, at different times but have never actually met these 3 cousins. Dad's two neices & Mom's nephew. Our DB went last year & when he returned he told us we have to go. According to him it's a must do.

We're all in our 70's so if are going to do it we'd better make it soon. My DH has been after me to do it, so we decided this is the year. Peg & I are going the end of Sept. & early Oct. Actually, we just got our airline tix & have made deposits on a guided tour with a professional tour guide/chaffeur.

So, PR weekend for me is not going to happen in '06, but I must say I'm getting awfully excited about finally making this actually happen!

If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?
