Great article, Mary Lynn. Sometime back you revealed your age which is close to mine. I sympathize with your thoughts about your body and having your husband help your take measurements. Age is not as kind to us as we would want. Too bad our bodies do not match our minds.

What a fun article. And it is very true. I'm going to start looking for one of those babies. Just think, when your shape changes, you can remold your dress form. That's why they no longer make them. We would only have to buy one instead of about 6 in your lifetime (one for every life change)

Mary Lynn, you are my kind of woman - emotionally, physically, intellectually, and most especially in your opinion of Marabelle Morgan. There is no way I will meet DH at the door wearing high heels and Saran wrap: high heels KILL my back.

What a fabulous article. From a fellow sew-er perspective, so true, and humorous. From an editor's perspective, very well written.

Yeah! Thank you for summarizing everything that sometimes keeps me awake in the middle of the night - and with such wit!
