Mary Stiefer was kind enough to compile a list for me with the requests from the old topic. This made my job much easier. I've narrowed down the requests to the ones listed below with my comments after the request. Please realise that I have a full time job and I do not have much time left after I come back from work. These are great suggestions though and I will implement them as soon as I can.

If you have requests other than these, please feel free to add to this topic.

Thanks,
Deepika

Suggestions for Changes on Message Boards

1. A new Forum for Fitting Issues - done
2. Rate your interest on certain topics allowing you to prioritize on the topics you view on the message boards - Maybe
3. When replying to someone's post, display their name and the message we are replying to on the reply screen - done
4. Add international states to the State drop down menu - Maybe ( this is a huge undertaking! )
5. Notification when topics in the topic tracker are expiring - Yes, but instead of sending an e-mail I am thinking it should be a warning on the message board somewhere which will draw your attention to the topic tracker)
6. Clicking on the sender's name in a private message should display their profile - Done

Suggestions for Changes on the Site

1. Better printable view of the pattern catalog with details like yardage etc. - Yes
2. Sorting on advanced sort results by pattern number etc. - Yes
3. Can web site reviews be pushed to the top when additional comments are made. - This is not doable because other reviews don't get pushed to top because of comments. However I can bring them to the top if they've been edited.
4. A different way of displaying Morphed patterns - Maybe ( dont have a good solution for this yet)
5. Categorize tips and techniques ( Yes, need to come up with a list and to categorize existing categories, time consuming )
7. A separate forum for Advanced Sewing/Tailoring/Couture sewing - Done
8. Including a metropolitan area for store reviews - Maybe
9. Ability to download Pattern Catalog - ( Yes, but not soon )
10. Ability to request a notion review - DONE
11. Different display for pattern reviews based on tops, pants etc ( Yes )
12. Print button on Sewing Tips ( Yes, for FoPRs)
13. Editing classifieds without bringing them to the top of the list ( Yes, ASAP )
14. Ability to edit comments on other reviews. - done
17. PR Glossary or PR Sewing-dictionary ( good idea but a lot of work! )
18. Next/Previous button to be included in the Tips section - Yes
19. Duplicate titles in Tips and techniques - We have to allow this because if someone wants to add a tip which has already been added but their method is different. However I can add a unique identifier like their username to the tip to avoid confusion
20. Selecting your own background color for the web-site. (not possible just yet but maybe in the next release)
21. Addition of "report objectionable post" in the Classified section - Maybe, I'll have to think about this one.
22. Include a category "Unisex" for pattern types - Maybe
23. Show rating on the your account page - Yes
25. Show newly promoted members, who got a star this week - Yes, good idea!
26. Send an e-mail immediately when a reply is posted to a thread I track - not possible on PR because of overhead.
27. Ability to increase font on PR on demand. (Yes, but this requires site redesign, when I do that next I will add this feature).
28. Make reviewer rating two or three tier -- again the harder we make this the more we will confuse people. We can add more rating types though.
29. In the advanced search, allow me to find only patterns with multiple reviews - Yes
30. Make the list of states alpha sorted - Yes
31. To be able to request class reviews - DONE
32. Is it possible to set my timezone on PR? - Yes working on that.

site #3: typo alert - "because of reviews" should be "because of comments"

site #14: Please don't. Instead, perhaps you can change it from a simple "edit" to "edit your own comment"

I'm with Anne on this one. I really like the ability to edit my comments.

Thank you Mary and Deepika for compiling everything!

I'd like to keep the ability to edit comments too and second the request to make it available for all reviews.

Maybe we should try to think of a way to make your job of answering questions easier ... ??

Mary, thank you for helping Deepika with compiling this list. Awesome job!

Deepika, I am continually impressed with how willing you are to implement requests from us! Look at how many of those requests you are ready to put into the system right away. And, look at how thoughtful you are to let us know that for some you need time to consider all the ramifications. I, for one want to thank you for all you do!

When I started looking through that huge thread I tried many things to see if it worked or how it worked. This little bit of research taught me quite a bit about PR.

Pat, you are right, Deepika implemented so many of these changes already. It's amazing.

I'm sure this current list will keep Deepika quite busy - again. I think it's a never ending job. Thanks again, Deepika - for the fine job you do.

Deepika, I echo (loudly) what Pat wrote. I am continually amazed at all the things on this awesome site. Please leave some time for your own sewing too though! Thank you.

Connie

It's funny you should say that because last month I made a resolution that every week I have to do something sewing related and it's been a few weeks since then and so far I've been keeping it. I made a leather purse, and now I am making a cell phone holder for my husband's grandmother. Out of all the people to whom I have given gifts, she is the one who actually uses and appreciates them. She loves handbags! I've already made her two and I am going to make her another one.
