My masseuse has offered to trade me massages for making her husband buffalo plaid shirts for Christmas. Ooo la la! Buffalo plaid is like Woolrich's original plaid--1 inch squares of red and black. I need it in a flannel or acrylic (wool's too expensive) Does anyone know of any good sites where I can buy some?

I checked a few places and didn't seem to come up with anything for the buffalo plaid. Here's a thought......LLBean has buffalo plaid sheets (not sets) you might be able to use. They call it a 5 oz. flannel, both sides brushed. It's probably better quality than you can buy anywhere else, too. They have red and dark red, but not the red and black. If you like the idea, you could probably check some other internet stores for flannel sheets.

flannel

Here's one I found when I googled buffalo plaid flannel- the price seems good for 60 inch wide fabric. Ebay also has a few sellers- try them.

Believe it or not - Sewbaby has plaid flannel. I noticed it the other day.

Black and white buffalo plaid flannel

You might find more here.

Hope this helps.

That looks like great quality flannel (7 ozs.) and a good price for being 60" wide.
