I still have not received my November BWOF. Is anyone else still waiting? I'm wondering if it would be worth it to pay the first class or priority subscription rate.

I would call GLP and check with them. I didn't get one a few months back and they sent another. If you wait too long, they won't have any left. I have had mine for almost 2 weeks.

I just got mine 2 days ago... 11/13. Thought it was a bit late, too.

rationalize v. defend, explain, clear away or make excuses for by reasoning. "rationalize the child's seemingly crazy behavior"
WorldNet 2.0 2003 Princeton University On-line Medical Dictionary.

Here are the reasons I should pay the extra money for first class delivery of BWOF. A 6 month subscription, first class delivery costs $58.00. That's $9.66 per issue. On average, there are 5 plus-size patterns in each issue (I can only use the the Plus size patterns). Each plus pattern is costing me $1.93. Compare $1.93 to $9.00; the average sale price of a Butterick or McCall pattern (my favorites before I subscribed to BWOF). If I buy 5 patterns a month, I'd be spending about $45.00. So, I'm saving $43.07 a month by upgrading my subscription to 1st class delivery. And I wouldn't have to worry about late delivery. Just think how much I'd be saving if I lost weight and could use the regular size range!!!!!

I just received mine yesterday (in California). That is pretty normal for me, about 2 weeks into the month. Once I got it in the first week out of 3 or 4 years subscribing.

I second Peggy's advice: Call them so they still have enough issues left to give you a replacement. They don't have many extras.

I called last week and again yesterday. When I called last week, I was told to give it a few more days and call back. When I called back yesterday, there were no more replacements, but my subscription will be extended by one month.

Elaray, I love your rationalization. I buy mine in single issues at Borders for $8.50 and I'm not sure why I don't just save some money by subscribing. It is still a bargain with all those patterns and just think of all the enjoyment of being able to look at the magazine at your leisure and having every single pattern right there rather than going to the store to look at the patternbooks and then having to wait for sales. Then that huge disappointment when the pretty envelope drawing becomes a wadder. Somehow it doesn't feel so bad to make a BWOF wadder, the magazine still holds promise and excitement. Am I adding to your rationalizing?

ETA I wonder what they did with your copy if they don't have anymore! What a bore.
