I need a Pfaff 774 serger review...

I received my first serger for Christmas and I would like to know what others have experienced with their same model machine. It was not my first choice, but price dictated what I received. Don't get me wrong...I am thrilled to finally have a serger. I have only just started to "play" with it. Threading seems easy enough. I know it will get quicker with practice. Are there any quirks that I should know about? Is there anything that is not written in the VERY basic manual that would be of help to me and my four girls who will be using this machine also?
