Subject: accessing sewing lessons from Australia Date: 1/14/07 6:00 PM Hi,
this sewing lesson interests me but due to time differences wouldn't be available for some of the chat times. Is it possible to complete these lessons without being around at the designated chat times? |

Of course you can take the class and not be available for the chats. I know for those of you who live half way around the globe from me, chat times really pose a problem.
The chat transcripts are posted -- usually by the next day -- and you can read through them. The great thing about the class discussion board is that you can use it to ask questions about the lessons, about something that was talked about in the chats, or any other questions about the topic that you have.
If it works for you, I'd enjoy having you in the class.

Subject: Sewing Facings Date: 1/16/07 7:44 PM Hi Sarah,
What supplies will be needed for this class? I am returning to sewing after a long absence. Will this class be good for beginner sewers? |

Subject: supply list Date: 1/16/07 9:18 PM Sarah, I couldn't find the supply list on the class description. Could you point me there please.
Also, Could you tell me if the class covers skirt facings and what to do when there is a lining and a zipper involved? |

Approximately 1/4 yard lightweight fusible or sew-in interfacing.
Simple shell/blouse pattern that has a neck facing.

Yes, skirt facings will be discussed as well as attaching linings.
Let me know if you have other questions. I'm happy to answer.

Subject: PATTERNMAKING & SEWING LESSONS Date: 3/13/08 8:39 PM Hi, I am interested in your lessons but can't open any of the links for a Sample Lesson, my webserver says there is no such a page. I also tried to get it through Adobe but all it did was update my Adobe version and did not get the sample lesson in the end.
Is it possible to have it emailed to genista2001@hotmail.com
Cheers! I would like to see what they are like before I join. I am also 10 hours behind GMT being in South Australia. |
