Anyone interested in getting it started again now that Deepika has added this new "topic" header. I've been in the stash contest - mainly sewing up some knits into tops. Yesterday I found some Juliette in a really nice denim blue color which, of course, I had to buy. Now what to do with it?? I bought 1.5 yds but could go get more. Date: 1/23/07 9:01 AM Peggy -- I think the juliette knit (I've used it before) would work well for the princess tee I just made: Vogue 8323.. This pattern has a more relaxed fit than many tees, helping hide a variety of lumps and bumps. I have also used Juliette for the Kwik Sew yoga pants pattern. How similar is the side shaping to the others? Would it be feasible to alter the armhole to match the armscye of the others and add the sleeve? ------ Buy the best and you only cry once.

No altering armholes required. Or, in reverse ... use the middle panels for A with the neckline you like and the sides/sleeves from the other. Only the CF and CB are different. The sleeveless view just uses bias tape or turn-under-and-topstitch. If I were making it sleeveless, I would cut the armhole a little higher though. ------ Carolyn
