Someone recently posted a couple of links for organic cottons, and maybe hemp, wool, etc. I think it might have been "Nikki" but I'm not sure, so apologies if I'm wrong. Still, would appreciate any help in tracking down high quality, all-natural fibers.

TIA

Strangely enough, Hancock's has some organic cotton knit and bamboo knit. The bamboo is lovely in texture and drape. They do have 3% spandex, however. Jasco, at www.jascofabrics.com has organic merino interlock wool jersey. They will promptly send you a swatch card. Candlelight valley fabrics carry very lovely wools, silks and cottons but not necessarily organic. You can google their Internet site.

Hi nikki,

Thanks for all the links - I didn't have a single one in my data base!

Great list - thank you. Exactly what I was looking for, and I noticed that one of them isn't too far from me. I may see if I can go in person and check it out. Boy, they do have some lovely stuff.

Thanks a mil.

Thanks for all the info. Funny that you mentioned bamboo because I've been very interested in it, as well. I just noticed that Wazoodle has some. Looks great.

Hi Reggie's Mom,

You might want to try:

Fabrics Store - linen/cotton

They offer free samples of the different types and weights of fabric they sell. Also, they offer "doggie bags" which are odd lots of remnants and bolt ends. I have ordered from them, and been very satisfied. (NAYY)
