Date: 3/20/07 12:36 PM So, I was at my local Hancocks today and they had a display of Hotpatterns! I was so excited, they were $11.95 or something like that. I've always wanted to order a pattern to test it out, now I can just take a drive.
Although I don't think that they are the same patterns offered online. Actually now that I have checked they are in deed not the same ones. Oh well!
Has anyone else seen this? |

Date: 3/20/07 12:51 PM Hahaha...I can't really remember very much. But I do seem to remember that they all were easy patterns or said easy on the front. As I recall they were all pretty flowy dresses and tops and not very fitted. That could be why they were labeled easy! |

Date: 3/21/07 8:52 AM I just received the newsletter also and of course headed to PR to see what everyone was saying about the new patterns.
The new line has some cute designs in it. And I bet many of the fabrics that Gorgeous Things has for sale on her site would work well with this line.
I'm liking the butterfly top and wrap skirt butterfly top and wrap skirt and the cha-cha-cha dresses (Love that name!)

Date: 3/21/07 9:50 AM interesting. HotPatterns has things that are pretty cool but not so cool that I am willing to risk what seems to be many problems getting the pattern to work. I will be watching you guys to see how the patterns work! |

Date: 3/21/07 10:02 AM I'm thinking that now that HP has teamed up with McCalls on this line, we won't see some of the drafting and instructions glitches that we've seen in the past. Another set of eyes (or trained team of eyes) to proof the patterns may solve some of the difficulties people have had.
That said, I'm not seeing anything in the No Sweat Easy Sew collection that is really my style.

Date: 3/21/07 10:14 AM I wonder how the fit is? I mean now that they don't have slinky or other separate sizes, just 8-26? ------ JanieV |
