Subject: Would this class be appropriate for a child? Date: 10/24/07 9:14 AM

My daughter is 9 and clamoring for "real" instruction, not just mom helping her out. Would this class be something she could keep up with?

Possibly. It is written at an adult level, but if she reads well, she should be able to keep up.

Beginning the first day of class, I'll post the lessons for you to read. You do the assignments as they relate to your project. Questions can be posted on the class board; I check the board several times per day.

Shannon--Will this class touch on lining techniques. I wouldn't think so for the 102, but will any of the next ones if this one doesn't?

Subject: Lining a sleveless dress Date: 12/27/07 8:51 PM

I am new to pattern review. I have been trying for several days now to find someone who can walk me thru a sewing problem. I am making a 1950's dress - sleveless. I want to line it with the same material as the dress so when you see the inside it looks like the out side. How do I do the lining. I tryed to read the instruction but I am so confused and they said there were picture that you can go to to help. I want to wear this dress Monday it is my anniversary and I am afraid it won't be ready. Please help. C Hayes
