Date: 10/21/07 7:31 PM I never heard of that model but found one currently on e-Bay. It looks like a very nice machine. It is also the same as the Brother PC-3000, of which there are a couple of reviews here:

Date: 10/21/07 8:48 PM I just checked the Babylock website. The Encore is not listed there in the current line up or in the previous models. I am a BL owner, on my second combo machine, first was a stand-alone emb. machine called the Espree` and I also have the Imagine serger. The Encore listed on eBay has the same design on the front of it that was on my Esante ESe2 which I purchased in 2000. I think the ESe2 came out originally in the late 1990's, perhaps 98 or 99. I did purchase mine new but they brought out the first Ellageo later that year and the Esante was no longer the top of the line. Since the Encore is designed very much like my ESe2 I would guess it was also from the same era. It does look like a nice machine. Since it is obviously a discontinued model I would make sure that you can still get any necessary parts and accessories for it that you might want/need. |

Date: 10/21/07 10:28 PM I'm sure you're right about it being from several years back-when Babylock had that big, swooping, gold colored *e* logo on the front a few models, including the serger. -- Edited on 10/21/07 10:28 PM -- |
