Date: 11/3/07 10:40 AM I just bought this book and boy am I in love with it or what! Every single pattern in this book is great and I want to make it. Just thought I'd enable a few of you
I've never knitted a garment though so I am a little scared how long it might take.

Date: 11/3/07 10:58 AM Wow! That book looks great. What lovely styles. If you're worried about how long some of the garments would take to knit, maybe you can start with one that recommends a bulkier yarn... less stitches per inch... less time. I think there might be a nice cropped bolero in the book? I started knitting some kids sweaters before tackling one for myself kind of for the same reason -- the time factor -- plus my inexperience (I only knit 2 scarfs & a shawl before starting on a sweater.) To tell you the truth, I think I knit a kids size 6 sweater in less time than it took me to knit my first pair of socks! |
