The back cover of the December/January issue of Vogue Patterns Magazine states there's going to be a "big announcement" in January 2008 and tells readers to "be sure to come visit" their website. What do you suppose it might be?

I've wondered too Nancy! I've had a couple of emails from them about their January 2008 announcement along with seeing it in the magazine. I'm wondering if they maybe plan to start selling fabric or are introducing a fabric line?

I really don't have a clue and hope it's not anti-climatic, whatever it is!

Maybe downloadable patterns, like the Burda Style site?

I'd like to see more designers decide to market their patterns through Vogue, and Vogue really work on helping home sewists sew much better through their pattern instructions.

I was thinking, new designer, maybe?

I read in one of the question and answer section or maybe one of the editorials that they were bringing in some "new and exciting designers."

That's what I was thinking - a new designer.

My vote is for new designer patterns. Ohhh or wouldn't it be great if they started including patterns in the magazine like Burda? Sigh....

I miss all the "big" designer patterns they used to offer. And I agree it would be great to have the actual patterns in the magazine!
