Date: 1/14/08 7:46 PM I'm curious...how were the patterns ranked? I noticed that some patterns were ranked lower than patterns with fewer reviews; was it a function of how they were rated?
Meant to add: Very interesting!!! Great work on what was surely a huge undertaking! -- Edited on 1/15/08 10:05 AM -- ------ Lisa -- so much fabric, so little time!

Date: 1/14/08 7:55 PM Nice to see the top patterns in one place. I would have loved to see some of the plus-sized sewer's pics used. ------ Visit my blog at http://sewingsaga.blogspot.com

Date: 1/14/08 10:55 PM I too, though not plus sized, would have liked to see at least one plus size photo. The fashionista element definitely won out in terms of photo ops in this article. ------ Suo ergo maledicto
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs |

Date: 1/15/08 6:15 AM Diane, sorting out a year's worth of reviews and choosing the photos has to be a HUGE project, but once again - great job. Thank you! ------ “Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.” -Robert Heinlein and Ann's father. Thanks for the reminder, Ann.

Date: 1/15/08 7:29 AM Nice picks! Out of the ten, I've made two and have 3 sitting in my stash (and I actually don't buy that many patterns each year!) ------ www.fehrtrade.com |

Date: 1/15/08 7:30 AM This is a beautifully written, illustrated, and researched article. Diane and Dee, thanks so much for the hard work of compiling all this information for us. I appreciate seeing such a variety of patterns and reviewers' work included.
I'm anxiously awaiting the Pattern Hall of Fame article! ------ Carolyn
