Date: 1/22/08 5:50 PM I am having trouble replacing the thumbnail picture when editing a review. I follow the instructions, choosing another file, and it seems to upload it, but it never shows up. I've also tried clicking on the "remove thumbnail" button, but it does not remove the thumbnail or replace it.
Thanks! |

Date: 1/22/08 8:07 PM I've found lately that it takes about a week before magically, the new thumbnail appears. By then, the revised review is way far back in the reviews. I've thought about replacing the pic, then when the new one shows up days later, revising the review, so that at least the revised review goes with the new picture. ------ Marji

Date: 2/14/08 1:45 PM I noticed this too the other day when I removed a thumbnail and then uploaded a new one from my computer. However, when I right clicked on the unchanged thumbnail in Firefox and chose View Image to load the graphic by itself in the browser and then hit the Refresh button, the browser dumped the cached copy of the old thumbnail and replaced it with the new one I just uploaded.
I think it's just a browser cache issue, which might explain why new thumbnails magically appear several days later--your browser cache needed to expire first, forcing the browser to grab the picture again. ------ ~ Maggie

I'm having the same problem, and am using a few machines, so it's not browser cache.------ total yards of seam-ripping for 2008: 67,231 |
