Hello,

I recently purchased a vintage Fairloom dress form off of Ebay and it should be arriving today (so excited).

I know it's not coming with a manual, so I wanted to see if anyone had experience with using vintage forms. I've read elsewhere that they adjust from the inside, instead of having dials on the outside, but that's about all I know. Will it be pretty self-explanatory once I take a look? (I know I'll probably be getting weird looks from my husband, but it will help if I look somewhat confident in setting it up)

If anyone has any tips, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

PS- I know the newer ones are a little more user friendly, but I haven't read too many good reviews about their durability -- at least the ones in my price range. This vintage form has a much wider size range than new forms and if it's lasted this long in good condition, I won't have any worries about using it.

Hi! I don't know if you've gotten it by now, I have two older ones and they adjust on the inside with wing nuts. Each little movement.
Its pretty intensive to adjust mine accurately. You'll need a lot of patience. I had one adjusted to me a long time ago but I have given up trying to adjust them that way.
Now one is left at its smallest, and the other is padded and recovered in a desirable shape!
Congrats on your purchase and much luck to you!
