I am new to this great site and love all of the information about sewing machines, patterns, etc. Most of the acronyms are obvious, but one is a mystery. What is TOL? Thanks, SG

I think one common misconception in machine sales is that current "TOL" is the computer embroidery series.

If you don't embroider, then this TOL isn't top for you...

There are "TOL" sewing machines that have just a few decorative stitches...that's one reason why many Bernina people held on to their earlier "TOL" models...

To me, a combo machine is separate than a sewing machine.

Then, e-mails were written on paper and put in weird paper things called envelopes and the postal system delivered them. This was slow. Finally, e-mail as we know it came around."
