Date: 1/30/08 12:15 PM This morning around 5 AM my Mom died peacefully in her sleep. This is a mixed blessing in a manner of speaking. She has been moving along in that direction and it is her time, but I shall miss her deeply -- I do miss her.
Since late summer as Mom's decline began, I tripped over PR and it has become a place to dream of resuming sewing and in particular for myself. Hopefully I have helped a person or two along the way. You have all given me a place to go when I just could not add another drop to the friends and family I see daily. You have given me a place to go to escape, to hope, to plan and to dream as well as a place where at times I could offer to assist. All of this has been part of the bigger picture of coping and facing the inevitable. It is a differently busy time right now. I will return in time.
Thank you. ------ "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." Anais Nin

While you'll be busy, you'll be in my thoughts. We will be here when you return. ------ A bad day in the sewing room is better than a good day at the office.
