Date: 2/4/08 9:02 PM Is it OK to review Patterns that have been reviewed many times, or is it too much? Is there an amount that is too much, or is everyone always happy to hear the next persons success here.
Just wondering as some patterns that I considered reviewing have been favorably reviewed and since I'm finding the site a little overwhelming, I'm not sure where to look for an answer!
Thanks! ------ Diane

Date: 2/4/08 9:18 PM The more the merrier. . Each review is helpful. Something you encountered with the pattern may have been different from the other reviewers. Your writing style or explanations may be easier to understand etc. So please write up those reviews. I am the type to read and re-read every review written for patterns I'm interested in. |

Date: 2/4/08 9:22 PM I love it when I am trying to decide if I should sew up a pattern and I find many reviews for it. I can search through them to find someone with my body type or close to it. Each review is helpful to someone. Please, feel free to add yours. ------ Visit my blog at http://sewingsaga.blogspot.com

Date: 2/4/08 9:26 PM Yes, please add your reviews to the mix! I agree with Sherril that the more reviews, the better take I have on the pattern. Everybody brings something different to the table.

Date: 2/5/08 6:57 PM just agreeing with everyone else! I find it really helpful not only to see how a pattern looks on body types that are more like mine and from sewers with differnet skill levels, but also I really, really like to see all the different takes people come up with from a single pattern. |

Date: 2/8/08 10:08 AM Welcome to PR! On the left side of the page click on "Your Account". Half way down that page it will say "Your Reviews". Click on that and it should be at the top. ------ www.thereisjoyadventures.blogspot.com |

Date: 2/8/08 12:51 PM Ladies, I think we are many to agree that it doesn't matter how many times a pattern has been reviewed, it's always useful.
I like to see the different fabrics and colors used for the same pattern; sometimes someone does something you wouldn't have thought of and it's interesting. As said before me, it's also useful to see the same pattern on different body types.
It also happened to me to not pay attention to a particular pattern in the catalogue, and then I see many reviews of it on PR and I want to give it a try 'cause it looks so nice on many people!
