Subject: copy your favorite blouse -class Date: 4/7/08 8:45 PM I did not see this class under a heading, maybe I have overlooked it.
My question is what kind of format is the class given in. ie- daily, or is it something I can print out if I dont/cant be available for a chat at a specific time. I work during the day hours, so is this a class that I can take when I can take it?Does it have a deadline, then information is gone?
Please point me in the right direction if this has been answered or are FAQ somewhere. Thanks, Lanna
editted: I found the information I needed, just had to look around a little more. Ignore my post

Date: 4/26/08 10:46 AM I'm trying to decide whether to sign up for Mary McCarthy's Copy Your Favorite Pants class or for her Copy Your Favorite Shirt class. I definitely want to copy a pair of pants, so I'm leaning towards the pants class. However, it looks like the shirt class also covers pants, and the techniques for copying must be similar. What is your advice?

Subject: Re: Pre Registration Q&A Date: 4/26/08 12:21 PM Hi Ardis,
Both classes cover the general principles of copying a garment, and the supplies are the same. But the pant class demonstrates just pants, and goes into more detail than the Copy Shirt class, which covers darts, facings, sleeves, armholes, and a brief description for pants.
The pant class goes into much more detail and is probably more advanced but still (hopefully!) quite clear.
I suggest the pant class if that is what you are leaning toward.
Hope you can join us for a chat or two.

Subject: Online Class Supplies Question Date: 10/11/08 3:02 PM I am interested in the online class Copy Your Favorite Pants. My question is can the Tru Grid Pattern material be purchased from a fabric store or does it have to be purchased through you? |

This class will be presented with text and pictures all at once about a week before the first of three chats. You can then ask questions on the board for about 3 weeks if you can't make it to the chats. Also the transcripts are posted for you to print after each chat.
