I'm just starting to make handbags and totes (I've made one so far that came out pretty good).
I'm one that hates having one large space to dump all of my stuff in, in a purse, and must have divided interiors.
I have no idea as to how to put a zippered divider into a lined bag. I have searched the site and the web and can't find a thing.
I've even looked for a pattern with one, just for the learning (didn't want to get into an intricate project at this point), haven't seen one other than super multi compartmented backpacks and luggage type items.
Does anyone know of any online tutorials that cover this? With pictures, please. I have to have visuals to understand a new concept.
Sure would appreciate any help in this. Thanks!

Have you checked the video tutorials here: Expert Village
This one is not exactly what you are looking for, but may trigger an idea.

I did a bag like that once but I can't find the pattern so I am working from memory -- and the bag in front of me.
The center section is made with the zipper between to pieces of fabric into a little rectangle pouch and that is then sewn between the front and back lining sections. Then you put the outside in one section of the lining right sides together, sew leaving a place to turn.
When you turn it and the lining is inside you will have three compartments.
