I think I found the Holy Grail.

I was cruising around some Russian sites today (donít ask - please) and read that there is a distributor in Germany with a decent Patrones Magazine Worldwide subscription rate! They also sell individual issues!

The site is mode ... information. Clicking the link will take you to the English version of the site. After that, search for Patrones, and Voila!! THERE YOU GO!!

Soo, uhh, do I have to keep going down to Mexico for everyone? Have I been redeemed?

I had to search, but I think I found it.
Now, where is my Euro calculator?
What is the rate now, does that make it about $200?

A 15 month subscription at 139.00 Euros would be $ $220.
The individual prices aren't too bad .

Thanks TwistedAngel.

My hope is to sew to the very end. They'll find my head slumped over my precious Kenmore 19606 and have to pry the seam ripper from my cold, dead hands.

There have never been a 15 moth subs, they have published 15 issues per year, including the Tallas Grandes twice a year and Disfraces one a year, and since the owner changed there has been no additional Tallas Grandes or Disfraces, they have dropped the Disfraces off and Tallas Grandes is incorporated in the monthly Patrones, so I think you better find out before you subscribe what it is your getting.

I suspect it's the same what I get, namely Patrones x12 a year including two kids issues per year, but it's still a whole lot better deal than 400+ euros in other places, if somebody really likes the mags I'd say go for it.

One other thing, they have changed the order of the issues a little, I hope they are not downsizing the amount of the patterns per mag too.
Marita

ps. Did you check out what else they had? for sale, magazines and books, also Pantone.

Even with the exchange rate that's cheaper than Amazon has it for.
Almost $500! I just bought an issue and until I make up something I think I will wait to order. But, thank you so much. I ordered the single copy from a German site on ebay and the cost isn't too bad. I think it was about $17 plus shipping.

Thanks. I'm always on the look for these, even though I'll probably get the occasional single issue.

I have a Patrones question. I have traced a double breasted jacket for issue 252 (Enero 2007 for those with a translator handy) and I am nervous about the sizing. I wear a 40-42 in BWOF, and a slightly enlarged 44-46 in Marfy. his comes in a 40, 44, and 48. I started by tracing the 44, and I will make a muslin. Can someone guide me with the sizing?

I don't really have time to make a muslin (I know, I know), but it isn't fitted, and I do have a little extra fabric.
