Date: 7/12/08 3:39 PM It can't be my DH. The adjective is different and the seat padding in his shorts is genetic. ------ “Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.” -Robert Heinlein and Ann's father. Thanks for the reminder, Ann.

Date: 7/12/08 3:46 PM It is a sad day when men have to resort to joining a women's sewing forum to make contact with the missus. Just kidding. Welcome. ------ Let's...BUILD A HUT! (or a yert).

Date: 7/12/08 4:48 PM welcome DH!!! so, she's starting of with padded bike shorts for you?? Very enterprising, I would say.
The first thing I made DH, after we had been married for a couple years, was a Hawai'ian print shirt. He still has it, and says it's one of his favorites.
The dress shirts didn't turn out so well, but the lined vests did. Haven't tried dress slacks for him yet, mainly because I don't want to push his patience beyond it's limit.
Enjoy your soon to be growing wardrobe, but don't be too shocked if hers grows faster and with much nicer stuff!! lol

Date: 7/12/08 4:51 PM You have to get a 2nd sewing machine, and you learn to sew, and then you can be DH & DW.

------ With a great wardrobe that's still in the flat-fabric stage. |
