i know i can make one using interfacing but i wondered if there were people who made belts who would be able to do this for me and make it look more professional...

This company was recommended in a Hot patterns newsletter. You have to contact them by phone. At the first opportunity, I'm going to order their catalog....if only I remember to do it during the week, taking the time difference between the coasts into consideration.

ETA Ooops. I just noticed you'd have to take into consideration the time difference between 2 coasts and an ocean! PM me if you need help contacting this company, but maybe someone can suggest something a little closer to you.

I have had work done by Pat. Her belts and covered buttons are impeccable, the real deal.
Getting a catalog is great, as you can see all the myriad styles and sizes. If you can order over the phone what you want, without reference to the catalog, she will send you the catalog with the order. I have had wonderful service with her. She also sends out pre-printed order sheets and envelopes if you intend on doing some repeat business with her.
It's worth the wait. Yes you have to plan ahead, but so very worth it. Highly recommended.
