Some sort of all-in-one collar and collar stand interfacing? What on EARTH have I got from the thrift store?

They look just exactly like a cut-in-one-piece collar and stand, with a heavier layer at the stand part, and integrated plastic-things to keep the point of the collar... pointy I spose... ever seen such things in your life? I would think that you could make a shirt with a collar stand...sew the under collar and under collar stand together first...add the interfacing...then sew the top collar/collar stand together...then attach it to the under collar/collar stand by sewing all the way around up to, but not past the seam allowance at the neckline. Press the top collar stand seam allowance at the neckline under....sew the under collar stand to the neckline, etc. That would be the only way I could see to do it. ------ D Henzey
