Hi All,

Check out this great article by Kathi Rank. Now, armed with a printed copy of this, you too can have fun in the district. Don't forget to review the stores when you get back!

Fabric Shopping in LA article

Special thanks to MelissaB and Christina Sonja for their featured photos in this article.

Great article! Someday I hope to visit LA's fabric district to see how it compares with my beloved NYC garment district.

I posted a message on this board a few hours ago, but it never made it into view. So, I'll post again to give my thanks for a great article that makes approaching the LA fabric district seem so much more manageable than I had anticipated. I've printed and will save (and use) this article on my next visit to see family in LA. Thanks so very much.

Thanks, Kathi! This will be super helpful if I ever go back. Or I should say, when I go back! I wasn't able to hit up every place I wanted to in just one day...

So much information! I will have to find a reason to come to LA...just as soon as I've sewn down my stash. That should be in about 20 years.

Great article Kathi! I look forward to visiting the district again. It was very overwhelming the first time - so many stores and so much fabric!
