My husband has asked me to make him a winter hat for fishing and hunting. He wants one that has ear flaps. I cannot find a pattern for a man's hat anywhere. Any suggestions?? I guess I might have to find a hat and draft my own pattern. Thanks!

Try Green Pepper pattern #531, it is a polar fleece hunting style brimmed cap with fold down earflaps. Or 528 which is a norwest style with wide brim and fold down earflaps. -- Edited on 9/28/08 3:08 PM --

I've made Burda 7996, which is a faux shearling ear flap hat. Here's a link to the finished hat. I thought I reviewed it on PR, but I can't find the review... That pattern has a pretty broad size range, too.
