Date: 10/9/08 11:54 AM Lots of Great ideas have been circulating for contests for 2009.
As a result, there are more contest ideas than there are months to conduct them.
This is your chance to express your preferences.
Click Here to vote for the contests you'd like to see in the coming months.
You may vote for up to __ contests. It seems the poll will not automatically limit you on the number of contests you vote for, but I would suggest choosing your top 10 or 12 and voting for those, or choose the ones that you would be most likely to participate in, whatever that number is.
You may only vote once, and once you vote, you may not change your mind, so please consider carefully.
We'll take the top vote-getters and put them on the schedule.
The goal is to run about 2 contests a month. That's about what PR can handle in terms of both sponsorship and managers.
For contests that haven't been run before, the rules committee will solicit your input for rules closer to the time of the contest.

Date: 10/9/08 5:27 PM yes, the poll is working fine now.
And, just so that you know, this
Quote: "You can see the poll results once you vote."
appears at the botton of the poll box....but you can't really see, because of the type of poll it is.
Deepika will notify us of the results, but you won't be able to watch the voting as it happens.
And to deal with another question (these are all questions I've had today, that I've pestered Deepika with, so I assume some of you will have the same questions)
Question/Issue: It looks as if I voted more than once, because it accepts my vote and says "thank you for voting" every time I hit submit (I did that because I was testing to see what happened)
Answer: The system only registers your vote once. So you can hit submit all day long - it's just going into the ether. Make your first time voting what you want, since that's what will count.
