It recently came to my attention that Moriah School in Wellington, New Zealand, is collecting a button for every child who died in the Holocaust. It's a great way to make comprehensible to children the scale of the tragedy. They need need one and a half million buttons and to date have collected only 152,468 buttons. We only have 4 million people in New Zealand so we do need outside help. The school has commissioned an artist to make a memorial out of the buttons. If any of you have any spare buttons, or know anybody who has, please get them sent them to
PO Box 27 233
and help the next generation prevent another holocaust.
Thanks and regards

What a great project. I just read an article in a magazine about how so many young people don't even know what the holocaust was, even in Germany.
