Subject: Re: Class Question Date: 1/6/10 8:46 PM Indeed we will, which is why the class projects have been designed the way they are. The first is a small cushion (good to fill with lavender or somesuch); the second is a beautiful Chantilly lace and linen boudoir pillowcase. The third type of lace we do samples with, but there's enough in the sample so that you could always use the rest of it elsewhere.

Subject: Time Commitment? Date: 2/12/10 10:02 PM Hi Susan,
Your class looks delightful. However, March is looking to be a very busy time at work for me. About how much time do you think we would need between lessons to get the sewing done?
Thanks! |

Subject: Re: Time Commitment? Date: 2/13/10 10:07 AM Not a huge amount - the projects are pretty manageable, so I don't think it will be a problem. My guess would be a couple of hours for each.

Date: 2/25/10 6:50 AM I'd LOVE to take this class but am worried that the kit won't arrive on time (I'm in Singapore and mail from the US typically takes about 10 days on average to arrive ). Serves me right for not checking out this FABULOUS classes section earlier!
Will this class be available again this year or will it be ok to just join in the fun now and catch up when the kit arrives?
Thanks much!

Subject: too late Date: 3/2/10 10:45 AM Hi Susan,
Am I too late to join the class?
My goal (down the line) is to make beautiful lingerie - mainly bras.
It occurred to me that learning about beautiful laces might be helpful.
Thanks,
Colette

Subject: Re: too late Date: 3/3/10 7:51 AM You're not too late at all; new class dates will be up shortly. And I think this would be a great introduction for you - it will demystify the whole process of working with lace. |

Subject: Hi Susan Date: 3/3/10 1:42 PM Hi Susan,
Thanks so my for your response.
I think I am going to wait to take the class next time it is offered.
Work is simply overwelming these days.
I also am behind on my two other online sewing classes.
I need to catch up.
I am hoping by the time the class is offered again - I'll have advanced in my bra making skills and I'll be able to get a lot more out of working with the laces.
I did check out your website and was wondering if you would ever offer your Classic French Jacket class online. I can only imagine how popular that would be.
And the Paris tour looks fabulous.
Thanks again.
