I live about 20 miles from the Puyallup Fairgrounds and am planning on going to the Sewing Expo this year. If you can manage to get here to the Seattle area you should definitely come to the Expo - lots of seminars, lots of people selling all sorts of sewing-related things, notions, fabric, patterns, etc. I think it would be great if Pattern Review had a presence there this coming year - maybe a PR get together on one of the days/nights. ------ http://annikaatelier.blogspot.com/

I am really looking forward to this. I usually only go 1 day, trying to get there for the first free fashion show, then wander around the vendors after the fashion shows. Last year we did some of the seminars, these were the 45 min. ones. DD & I really enjoyed those, and want to attend again. A PR get together would be fun. I wasn't able to make it to the Seattle PR either. I'll be off on Friday the 27th, but could arrange additional time off if I know far enough ahead. btw I live about an hour away from the Puyallup Fairgrounds.

I wasn't too enthused last year, and if you exclude the seminars that I've already seen because they are identical to what the speaker has been doing for the last four years, it doesn't leave me enough of interest for a single day! *sigh* WHY do so many of these great speakers do the same presentation year after year, show after show? ------ what if the hokey-pokey really IS what it's all about?
