I've looked everywhere and I've torn up my sewing room to no avail! Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do? I know I shouldn't need them but I've never made this pattern and I wanted to at least look them over... Maybe someone could jot me a step 1, 2, 3 from their instructions??? Thanks for any help!

Hi Vicky - Louise regularly checks in at The Stitcher's Guild in the Cutting Line Designs Patterns thread which is under Patterns and Instructions. You may have to login to access the thread but I'm not sure.

You might want to ask her if there is an on-line source for her instructions. She includes a lot of helpful information besides how to sew the pants.

Thanks -- I'll try that. I was hoping to get them made this weekend since I just upgraded my Viking D1 to an SE. I'm anxious to sew! I guess I'll have to get a different project going....

I'd just email Louise directly, if I were you...

Her address is here on her website:

Well I emailed Louise but I haven't heard back from her. I guess I'm going to bit the bullet....

In my experience Louise is always very good about answering email, questions, etc. I know that she bends over backwards to help with sewing and fitting problems and issues.

I just wanted to post an update to my lost instructions fiasco....

I emailed Louise and explained that I'd lost them. And guess what, she very kindly and quickly sent me another copy in the mail!

This is customer service galore! I love her patterns and she now has my complete loyalty on top of that! What a nice thing to do. I doubt that any of the big-4 would do this.

So don't ever hesitate purchasing from Louise at Cutting Line Designs. Did everyone know they also sell a variety of high quality interfacings too? (just my opinion)

Thanks Louise!!

I recently got a pdf emailed to me by McCall's of a pattern I bought that did not have the instruction sheet included. (someone probably lost hers and filched a copy from my envelope in the store) But it is good to know they have the capacity to do this.
