Can anyone advise? I posted my first review, and followed the instructions. My thumbnail photo does not expand when you click the image - there obviously is no link - how do I correct it please?

I too had a lot of trouble with this but finally figured it out.

You have to check 2 things. First, the thumbnail you uploaded from your computer must be a .jpg (or another specific file format - can't remember which it is but it is identified on the PR page when you upload).

Second, you must also link to a photo that's on-line of your project. This is the photo that provides the link that expands. It's something like "photo of completed project" in the review template. It must also be a .jpg file. If you don't have an on-line photo location you can sign up for one - I use Flickr but there are a number of them.

If you are linking to one of the photo websites as opposed to your own webpage you must use the image location (on Flickr right-click on the photo itself and copy the image location) rather than the web address for the whole Flickr page. This gives you something that always ends in .jpg?v=0. You must then delete the ?v=0 leaving .jpg and you will be in business. I imagine other photo sites have similar little wrinkles.

I've wondered why this step is so hard. I also would like to be able to insert photos or links in my messages but I cannot do it. I use Picassa and Photobucket.

Should I try here? Let's see if I can insert an image of an apronhere

I see it-how about anyone else?

Yes, I see your apron, too. Congratulations. I am working on how to do this, too.

Kay,
I am getting confused. I opened a flickr acct and right click to get the web address. When I try and post it in a reply like this by using the "image" button, it just tells me that I need to enter a URL. I must be doing it wrong! Help!

Check to see if you are using IE7 - if you are, follow the instructions to allow scripted windows. (click on the link above the post box ....If you are using IE7, please read this)

You should then get the window to paste the web address.
